Your First Useful AI Skill

ChatGPT can use your computer. What will you ask it to do first?

With your permission and supported access, the ChatGPT app can look at an app, click and type on your computer. Learn to give it a useful first job: help with sound, printing or a browser. What do you say to get started?

No technical background needed. You are welcome even if your computer is working today.

Show me how — $27

$27 one time. Eight lessons and four short videos. Enroll on learn.brainroad.ai; ChatGPT access is separate.

You need the ChatGPT desktop app with supported Computer Use access. The setup lesson shows where to select Work inside the app. Features vary by account, computer and rollout. Check your access before buying; any ChatGPT subscription or access cost is separate from this course.

What do you say when you don’t know what’s wrong?

“My video is playing, but I can’t hear it through my speakers. Help me find out why. Explain what you see before changing anything.”

This is an example starting request, not a recorded repair. You do not need a technical checklist or a special prompt pack. ChatGPT can ask the next question and inspect a supported app with your permission.

  1. Show the relevant app.

Give ChatGPT the context and supported Computer Use access it needs for your task.

  2. Ask in your own words.

Say what you wanted to happen and what happened instead. “I don’t know” is a useful answer.

  3. Watch and review.

Ask what a proposed change does. Approve only what you understand, and stop whenever you need.

  4. Test the original task.

Play the video again, try the print, or repeat the task. Tell ChatGPT what actually happened.

How do you turn that request into useful help?

Your First Useful AI Skill: ChatGPT IT Guy teaches you to use ChatGPT directly on your computer. Follow the path from your first request to checking the result. Eight lessons and four short narrated videos include an actual speaker inspection and teaching illustrations.

  1. Meet your personal IT guy

  2. Open the ChatGPT app on your computer

  3. Let ChatGPT see the problem

  4. Tell your IT guy what is wrong

  5. Watch it work and stay in charge

  6. Check whether the fix worked

  7. When ChatGPT needs more help

  8. Give ChatGPT its next everyday task

Learn at your own pace, with no course completion deadline. The recorded example shows ChatGPT identifying sound devices; it does not show a repair or guarantee a fix.

Actual speaker inspection with narrated teaching cards. Preview narration is synthetic. No settings were changed and no repair is claimed.

$27 one time. ChatGPT access is separate.

30-day product-price refund. Contact [email protected] within 30 days of purchase. Read the product terms.

You stay in charge. ChatGPT handles supported technical tasks; you explain the goal, review changes and check the result. Hardware failures, account security incidents and problems that remain unresolved can need a person.

What if you still need a person?

BrainRoad’s human IT help is available separately. Ask ChatGPT for a short summary of what you wanted, what it tried and what happened, then bring that to a technician you trust.
